DIY Bucket Hat with Ribbon Tie: Stylish and Practical Crafting Adventure!

Hey, crafty friends! Today, I'm thrilled to share a step-by-step guide on creating your own bungeoji hat – a chic bucket hat that can be tied with a charming ribbon string. This versatile accessory is not only practical but also adds a stylish touch to a variety of outfits.

Let's dive into the crafting process:

1. Creating the Brim:

Fold the outer material in half and cut with a 1cm seam allowance.
Fold the adhesive core in half and cut it (seam allowance x).
Attach the adhesive backing to the inside of the outer fabric.
Prepare the lining with the same fabric as the outer material.
Place the outer fabric with the adhesive backing facing the outer side of the lining.
Sew with a 1cm seam allowance.
Cut to fit the shape of the outer material.
Turn it over and iron it.
Top stitch the edges.

2. Making the Bucket Hat Top:

Prepare one piece of outer material and one piece of lining with a 1cm seam allowance.
Cut 5 pieces each for the outer fabric and lining with a 1cm seam allowance.
Attach 2 pieces to both sides of the center piece.
Sew with a 1cm seam allowance.
Cut the seam allowance at the corner diagonally and sew the remaining piece.
Connect the three tower pieces.
Place the outside facing each other and sew.
The top of the outer fabric is completed.
Sew the lining in the same way to complete the lining top.

3. Assembling the Hat:

Connect the brim and top of the bucket hat.
Place the outside facing each other, fix and sew.
Attach a string to the back of the top (string length: 50cm).
Connect the outer fabric and lining.
Use scissors for the curve at the back.
Tie a ribbon according to the size of your head.
