What is it?
The heart-shaped fabric organizer is a decorative yet functional hanging storage solution. It has multiple layered pockets and can be hung on a wall, making it perfect for organizing small items in a cute and creative way.
Materials Needed
- 44cm x 22cm fabric (1 piece)
- 22cm x 26cm fabric (1 piece)
- 22cm x 20cm fabric (1 piece)
- 22cm x 14cm fabric (1 piece)
- 4cm wide bias tape
- 22cm x 22cm fusible interfacing
- Thread, scissors, pins, sewing machine or hand needle

How to Make It
- Iron fusible interfacing onto the back side of the 44cm x 22cm fabric. Fold it in half.
- Fold the 22cm x 26cm fabric in half and place it on top of the base fabric.
- Fold the 22cm x 20cm fabric and layer it above the previous pocket.
- Fold the 22cm x 14cm fabric and place it on top as the final pocket layer.
- Download and cut out the heart-shaped pattern.
- Place the pattern over the layered fabric and pin it in place.
- Sew along the edge of the heart pattern through all layers.
- Cut out the heart shape along the sewn lines.
Finishing Touches
- Make a small loop with a 10cm piece of bias tape. This will be the hanging loop.
- Attach the loop to the top center of the heart shape.
- Use bias tape to bind the outer edges of the heart, enclosing the raw edges neatly.
